
Seamless 14.25 meter resolution imagery of
the entire earth in bright, natural color
Using a proprietary algorithm, ComputaMaps has transformed the false-color (742 band combination) GeoCover Landsat mosaics developed for NASA into a seamless natural color mosaic of the entire planet. Our aim was to create a seamless mosaic of the whole world in bright, vivid natural color that retains the high contrast detail of the original pan-sharpened source imagery.
The result of this research is BrightEarth™ – the perfect global imagery base for GIS, web mapping applications, location-based services and multimedia content, 3D visualization and flight simulation, security and relief agency logistics, or any application where a seamless, highly detailed, geographically accurate, and realistic view of the world is required.

Licensing
ComputaMaps provides two types of licenses to use BrightEarth™: A user license, which permits most derivative uses and a distributor license which allows the user to distribute BrightEarth™ imagery electronically via a client application or internet service.
